The 9th International Interdisciplinary Cholnoky Symposium at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pécs once again provided an inspiring forum for scientific dialogue and interdisciplinary thinking.
Alongside the scientific program of the symposium, a charity bake sale was organized, offering a wonderful example of how scientific community building can be connected with social responsibility. A total of 13 different homemade cakes and pastries were prepared for the event, and they were met with great enthusiasm by participants.
Thanks to this collective effort, 107,500 HUF was raised and donated to the Eurakvilo Pediatric Oncology and Children’s Hospice Public Benefit Foundation. The donation was delivered to the Foundation through Éva Farkas, Foundation Manager and Professional Coordinator.
The success of this charitable initiative was reflected not only in the amount raised, but also in the supportive and open community spirit that characterized the day. The bake sale served as a meaningful example of how a scientific event can be more than a professional meeting point—it can also create opportunities to support important causes and provide real help. This initiative contributed to making the symposium memorable not only from a scientific perspective, but also in human and community terms.
