Dear Students!
One of the missions of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pécs is to help its students progress in their studies and thus reduce the drop-out rate. To this aim, it has set up a Learning Support Mentor Programme for both English and Hungarian language students. The goal is to create student study groups led by a senior pharmacy student (mentor) where students can discuss the more difficult details of a subject with the help and support of the mentor.
We are not only looking for senior students to act as mentors, but we also encourage students who are experiencing stagnation in their studies to take advantage of the Mentor Programme, as they can prepare for the exam with experienced mentors. The mentor's role is to prepare the mentored students for the exam in their chosen subject, so that they pass as many of the exams as possible at the end of the semester. The mentor receives a scholarship for the mentoring.
